Capture update: Adair escapees located over 600 mile away Sumter County, Florida deputies located white Chevrolet Corsica and ran license plate . Columbia Police Officer Gary Roy ran NCIC check in Columbia with a hit confimed, Deputies were able to take 20 year old Jordan Luttrell and 34 year old HTomas Wilon into custody without incident. Pair will be returned to Kentucky once extradition process complete. They willl face new escape charges in addition to having to carry out original sentences. Josh Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross The two escaped prisoners from Adair County Regional Jail Class D facility have been located. The two were located over 600 miles from Adair County in Florida. Around 2:30amCT, this morning Sumter County Florida Deputies located a white Chevrolet Corisca along the roadside and ran the license plate. CPD Sgt. Gary Roy was able to obtain a registration ID of the suspected vehicle early in the investigation and had it entered through NCIC at the Kentucky State Police Post. Once the deputies ran the plate a NCIC hit was confirmed and deputies were able to take 20 year old Jordan Luttrell and 34 year old Thomas Wilson into custody without incident. Both inmates will be transported back to Adair County once the extradition process is completed to face Escape charges and carry out their original sentences. We would like to thank everyone for their help we received and investigated multiple tips that was called into the department. Sgt. Gary Roy will continue the investigation. - Ofc.
