Delphia Hurt Coffey age 100 of Glasgow passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Friday, November 14, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm-8pmCT, Thursday, November 13, 2014, and after 9amCT, Friday, at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Evan and Ethel Martin Hurt. She was a homemaker and member of the South Green Church of Christ.

She is survived by the following:
  • A daughter in law: Maedene Coffey of Glasgow, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Mike Coffey of Glasgow, KY; Jackie and husband Scott Davis of Owensboro, KY; Tim Coffey of Summer Shade, KY; Julie and husband David Thompson of Edmonton, KY; and Linda Leann Coffey.

  • Eight great grandchildren

  • Three great great grandchildren

  • One neice: Bobbie Sue Muse of Indiana

  • And a nephew: Billy Hurt of Summer Shade
Besides her parents she was was preceded in death by her husband Lilburn Coffey, two sons, Larry and Jimmy Coffey and a daughter in law Linda Coffey.

The Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
