Roger Dale Giles of Casey County, KY died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 52. Born December 3, 1961 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of Tommy and Lucille Bell Giles. He was a construction worker and enjoyed coon hunting.

Funeral services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Friday, November 14, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. David Thompson officiating. Mr. Roger Giles will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 11amCT/12pmET, until funeral service.

He was born December 3, 1961 in Casey County, KY. He was he son of Tommy and Lucille Bell Giles. He died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 52 years, 11 months, and nine Days.

He was a construction worker and enjoyed coon hunting.

Survivors include the following:
  • His mother: Lucille Bell Giles of Liberty, KY

  • Son: Bradley (and Keonah) Jones of Columbia, KY

  • Daughter: Brandy Jones of Liberty, KY

  • Step-sons: Jamie and Matthew Mason

  • Two grandchildren: Nathan and Haylee

  • Two brothers, Michael Giles of Liberty, KY, and Darrell Giles of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Giles and sister, Marsha Vanoy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
