News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf is receiving votes in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Friday.

The Blue Raiders received 74 total voting points to sit just three spots outside of the poll. They trail Texas at Brownsville (79), Rocky Mountain (MT) (82) and No. 25 Indiana Wesleyan (84).

The men's squad is coming off a fall season in which they won four events including the President's Cup, Bill Sergent Invitational, Blue Raider Classic and the Fall Mid-South Conference Tournament.

In last year's spring season, Lindsey Wilson finished in 20th place at the NAIA National Championship Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Blue Raiders are the lone member of the Mid-South Conference be represented in the poll or receiving votes.

William Woods (M0) sits atop the poll with 527 points and 16 first-place votes. Wayland Baptist (TX) is second with 500 points followed by British Columbia with 496 and Costal Georgia with 481. Wayland Baptist, British Columbia and Coastal Georgia all received one first-place vote.
