James Michael Wethington, Casey County, KY (1946-2014)

He was an Air Force veteran, mechanic, worked on airplane engines, and installed garage doors. He enjoyed life and loved to hunt and fish. He was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Juanita Belton Wethington and the late James Oval Wethington. His beloved wife, Glordean Lee Wethington, survives. He leaves seven direct living descendants.

James Michael Wethington of Casey County, KY, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 68.

Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. No services will be held.



James Michael Wethington, Casey County, KY (1946-2014)

Born Thursday, October 17, 1946 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of Juanita Belton Wethington and the late James Oval Wethington. He died Thursday, November 6, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 20 days.

He was an Air Force veteran, mechanic, worked on airplane engines, and installed garage doors. He enjoyed life and loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include his beloved wife, Glordean Lee Wethington of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • Mother: Juanita Wethington of Liberty, KY

  • Two sons: Joey Wethington of Las Vegas, NV; and Terence Wethington of Webb City, MO

  • Daughter: Kasey Rega of Seattle, WA

  • Four grandchildren

  • A brother: Anthony Wethington of Liberty, KY
In addition to his father, Mike is preceded in death by a sister, Paula Richerson; and brother, David Wethington.
