News from Lindsey Wilson College

Dr. Kathryn Hansen, executive director of the Kentucky Sleep Society, gave this year's keynote address of the Dr. Henry Baughman Visiting Fellows Program. In her lecture, which was given Thursday afternoon in Norma and Glen Hodge Center for Discipleship, Hansen discussed how to overcome the barriers of getting a good night's rest. She also met with several LWC classes and visited with the college's baccalaureate nursing program.

The Baughman Visiting Fellows Program annually invites a scholar in the field of health, safety and wellness to give a public talk and meet with LWC students. Modeled on the prestigious Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows program, the Baughman Visiting Fellows Program enlightens area residents and LWC students about critical life issues. The program is named in honor of Henry Baughman, a retired Western Kentucky University professor who taught health and safety.
