Jackie Dudley, 66, Adair County, KY (1948-2014)

He was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and a retired gas attendant for Gate Petroleum, and will be remembered warmly by those thousands he met and served in professional, friendly manner. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was a member of a large, respected family centered around Western Adair County, KY. His wife, Betty Burton Dudley, survives. He was the son of the late Everett Claudis & Nancy Richard Dudley. He leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Jackie Dudley, 66, of Columbia, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2:36pmET at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Keith Fields officiating. Burial will be in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation after 4pmCT, Friday, October 25, 2014.



Casket bearers will be Mike Bennett, Dee Albertson, Everett Dudley, Wally Taylor, Ray Bragg and Austin Bragg.

Honorary casket bearers will be Allan Corbin, Nathaniel Johnson, Andrew Stotts, Zachary Campbell, Jesse Stotts, Luke Stotts and Shawn Campbell.

He was born Wednesday, January 21, 1948, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Everett Claudis & Nancy Richard Dudley. He died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 66 years, nine months, and one day.

He was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and a retired gas attendant for Gate Petroleum.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Betty Burton Dudley of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Evelyn Combs of Mannsville, KY; and Anita Gay (James) Stotts and Camilla (Tony) Campbell both of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Ricky (Sherry) Dudley of Gradyville, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Two great-grandchildren
