Joyce Coomer on Celia Downey article: Concise and to the point

But another important point, Joyce Coomer writes - We have the jobs. Let's support local businesses. - JOYCE COOMER
Comments about: CELIA DOWNEY: Bringing jobs issue down to earth

Joyce Coomer writes:
Concise and to the point . . .

Add in that many people take their business outside the county and/or bring in outside businesses to do what could be done by Adair County citizens and it makes the business climate even tougher for small businesses.

By my rough calculations, there are somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 jobs in the county, if not more than my high estimate of 7,000 . . . We have the jobs. Let's support local businesses.

Joyce M. Coomer
Thanks, Joyce! You and Celia have nailed it! You've hit the nail squarely on the head. Just wish that nail were firmly seated with all to realize - the answers are all right here. Right here at home. - CM
