Louis D. Wilson, 89, Russell Co., KY (1924-2014)

Mr. Wilson was a farmer and a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Hansford and Ethel Coffey Wilson. His wife, Eudell Johnson Wilson, survives. He leaves 11 direct living descendants.

Louis D. Wilson, 89, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

A funeral service for Louis D. Wilson will be 1pmCT, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Kyle Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT on Saturday, October 18, 2014.



Pallbearers: Trent Selby, Ryan Flatt, Doug Flatt, Travis Dolan, Jonathan Thomas, Billy Joe Johnson, Rex Johnson.

Louis D. Wilson, 89, Russell Co., KY (1924-2014)

He was born December 29, 1924 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Hansford and Ethel Coffey Wilson. He died Tuesday, October 18, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 89 years, nine months, and 20 days.

Mr. Wilson was a farmer and a member of Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Eudell Johnson Wilson, of Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Marlene (Dale) Selby, of Russell Springs, KY; and Sharlene (Doug) Flatt, of Hamilton, Ohio

  • Four grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren
