LWC Men's Golf wins MSC Fall Tournament Oliver Cowl claims the individual title for the Blue Raiders. The men's golf team finishes the fall season with four tournament victories overall. The Blue Raiders resume play in the spring of 2015. By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College BARDSTOWN, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished atop the leaderboard at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament on Tuesday with a final, two-round score of 610 (308-302) at the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. After a first round on Monday that saw the Blue Raiders trail leader Emmanuel (GA) by three strokes, Lindsey Wilson closed out play with a second-round team score of 302. In the 15-team field, the Blue Raiders edged runner-up Cumberlands (KY) by a single stoke. The Patriots finished with a two-round 611 (312-299). Oliver Cowl led the tournament wire to wire after an opening-round 72 on Monday, which he followed with a 3-over par 75 on day two to finish at 147 to secure the individual title. Cowl finished three strokes ahead of Cumberlands' Martin Jacobsson (150; 75-75) and Campbellsville's (KY) Michael Newton (150; 79-71). Joining Cowl in the top ten for Lindsey Wilson were Federico Navarro (80-74) and Ryan Nowe (79-75) as each ended play with 10-over par 154s to place in a three-way tie for ninth. Nathan Hincks shot a 6-over par 78 in the second round to close out with a 156 (78-78), which put him in a tie for 16th. Jordan Hagan tied for 19th with a final score of 157 (79-78). Competing as an individual, Clayton Bradshaw concluded the tournament tied for 16th with a 156 (79-77). The men's golf team finishes the fall season with four tournament victories overall.
