Casey County, KY, injury collision attributed to wet roads Vehicle hyroplaned, left roadway, and struck a tree By TFC Billy Gregory Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY LIBERTY, KY (Mon 13 Oct 2014) - Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred this morning at approximately 12:45amCT on Calvary Ridge Road in Casey County. 19-year-old Joshua Foley, of Yosemite, KY was traveling west on Calvary Ridge Road, operating a 2002 Chevy Silverado, when he hydroplaned. The truck left he roadway and struck a tree. Foley and a passenger, Alex Dewayne, of Kings Mountain, KY were not wearing seatbelts. Foley was not injured. Dewayne was transported to Ephraim McDowell Medical Center, Danville, KY, with non life threatening injuries. Tpr. Likins was assisted at the scene by Casey County EMS and East Casey Fire Department.
