Pearlie Mae Popplewell, 86, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Fairoaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, at 1pmCT, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, with Bro. Dewey Cooper and Bro. Willard Bryant officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, on Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs, KY. Interment at Square Oak Cemetery Russell Springs, KY.



Pearlie Mae Popplewell, Russell County, KY (1928-2014)

Pearlie was born in Russell Springs, Russell County, Kentucky on Saturday, July 27, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Sissy (Stephens) and Rufus Miller. She died Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 86 years, two months, and 15 days.

She was a member of Ono Community Church and a homemaker.

Pearlie is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Star Popplewell, of Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandson: Moe Glover, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Leva Riley, of Indiana; Peggy Ann Lane, of Indiana

  • Two brothers: Todge Miller, of Indiana; Bill Miller, of Indiana
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Goodlow Popplewell; one son, Jimmy Popplewell; and one grandson, Dion Popplewell.

Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY 42642, in charge of arrangments.
