Shirley Bennett, 75, Campbellsville, KY (1939-2014)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom.She was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Chester Benningfield and Ivan Martin Benningfield, and the widow of Paul Bennett, Jr. She leaves one direct living descendant.

Shirley Bennett, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Campbellsville. KY.

Funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. William Reed. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY.


Shirley Bennett, 75, Taylor County, KY (1939-2014) Shirley Bennett, was the daughter of the late Chester Benningfield and Ivan Martin Benningfield. She was born, April 16, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 75 years, six months, and 23 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul Bennett Jr.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son, Larry Bennett of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three sisters: Kay Shipp and Christine Benningfield of Campbellsville, KY; and Doris Price and husband, Michael of Greensburg, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
