Man arrested, alleged to have tried to hire a hit man

Case turned over to the November Grand Jury

A Campbellsville man is accused of trying to hire a hit man.

27 year old Tim Davis was arrested early Saturday, October 4, 2014, at his home on Lyon Street, Campbellsville, KY, on warrants charging him with Solicitation of Murder and 3rd degree terroristic theatening.

He is accused of threatening the life of a local woman upon his release from jail and trying to hire other inmates to make the kill.

Davis is lodged in the Taylor County Jail and is ordered to have no contact with the woman.

The case will be presented to the Taylor County Grand Jury in November 2014.
