Free Tipping at the Transfer Station Oct 24 and 25, 2014

For residents of Adair County Only

Judge Executive Ann Melton and the Adair County Fiscal Court are offering free tipping at the Transfer Station located at 877 L Willis Road, Columbia, KY on Friday, October 24th, 2014 from 7amCT-3pmCT, and on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 7amCT to 12pmCT. This will provide an opportunity for residents of Adair County to dispose of unwanted items and materials.


Items that will not be accepted:
  • Tires
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Dirt
  • Concrete
  • Burning barrels
  • Rock
  • Steel cable
  • Capacitors
  • Lumber
  • Tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane)
Note: Paint will only be accepted if it has been dried with sand/or cat litter. Any items deemed unacceptable will be turned away.
