Friday Night Event Celebrates the Tango at LWC Area residents can kick off the weekend by celebrating the national dance of Argentina. The Tami Tango Trio will bring the grace and beauty of the tango to life Friday night at Lindsey Wilson College. The Tami Tango Trio will perform at 7 p.m. CT Friday, Oct. 3, in W.W. Slider Humanities Center Recital Hall, 155 Blue Raider Drive. The event is free and open to the public. The Tami Tango Trio is an internationally acclaimed Argentine music and dance ensemble of three musicians and two dancers who combine to show the tango, which is considered the national dance of the South American nation. The Tami Tango features: Argentine musicians, Eduardo Tami, flute; Alejandro Bordas, guitar; Federico Perez, piano; and dance duo, Claudia Marciano and Antonio Saganias.
