WRH Health Fair Saturday, 4 Oct 2014 will be much bigger
Westlake Regional Hospital, known for having one of the largest health fairs in our area, adds 17 more vendors to this year's event for a total of 50! Some 2,000 have already had blood draws; Westlake expects up to 500 or more on Saturday, 4 Oct 2014. Included among the services at this year's Health Fair: WRH nurses will have available Fu shots.

The 2014 WRH Annual Health Fair will begin at 7amCT this Saturday, October 4, 2014, on the beautiful campus of Westlake Regional Hospital, 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY.
Lori Wade, Director of Marketing, stated, "All of the staff has been working very hard to prepare for this year's health fair from manicuring the hospital grounds and painting hallways to ensuring quality vendors are here to assist the community with all of their health care concerns."
Wade continued, by saying, "There are also going to be several vendors here from local and state agencies offering information about services provided at little or no cost to eligible participants. In addition to the informational booths there are going to be several organizations offering services free of charge.
The Shriners will be doing eye screenings, Audibel will be conducting hearing screenings, Gerald Coe will be here making balloon animals for the kids, Lindsey Wilson Nursing students will offer Body Mass Index Analysis, Blood Pressure screenings, and Diabetes screenings, Lakeway Chiropractic will offer spinal screenings, Westlake Respiratory Department will offer oxygen saturation level analysis, Sheriff Harrison Moss will be offering Child ID Cards, and the Westlake Nursing Department will be offering flu shots."
As of the time, this year's vendors include:
"We hope that the community will come out to the health fair and take advantage of everything that is being offered and enjoy a few hours of fellowship with their friends and neighbors," stated Wade.
