To begin the doubleheader at the Barber Soccer Complex, the women's match kicks off at 4pmCT with the men's game scheduled to follow immediately. The sixth-ranked Blue Raider women's team (5-2-2, 2-0-0 Mid-South Conference) competes in their second of four-straight MSC matches. On Saturday evening against visiting Campbellsville (KY), five different Lindsey Wilson players scored in a 5-1 win. That offensive output marked the Blue Raiders' second-most goals in a single game this season, trailing only a 10-0 victory over Shawnee State (OH). Forward Lyana Perez is tied with teammate Anna Vig for the team lead with five goals this fall, while goalkeeper Johanna Henriksson and the Lindsey Wilson defensive unit have five shutouts on the season. For the Patriots (2-5-1, 1-2-0 MSC), Macy Higdon has a team-high seven points on a pair of goals and three assists. Sara Herbert leads St. Catharine with four assists. Last time on the pitch, the Patriots lost at No. 4 Cumberland (TN), 10-0, on Saturday. In the head-to-head series, the Blue Raiders are 6-0-0 all-time against St. Catharine, including a 13-1 win last season at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. In the men's game, top-ranked Lindsey Wilson (5-2-1, 1-0-1 MSC) plays only its second away match this fall. Most recently, the Blue Raiders lost, 3-1, against former conference opponent and No. 11-ranked Rio Grande (OH) on Saturday night. Midfielder Aleksi Pahkasalo paces Lindsey Wilson with four goals and three assists this season. St. Catharine (6-3-0, 2-1-0 MSC) enters this game on the heels of a 3-2 double-overtime defeat at Cumberland (TN) on Saturday. For the Patriots, Ashley Woods has a team-best 14 points on six goals and two assists, and scored the game-tying goal in the 84th minute against Cumberland that eventually forced overtime. In that same match, St. Catharine goalkeeper CJ Powell made nine saves. The Blue Raiders have yet to lose to the Patriots, posting a 7-0-0 all-time series mark.
