LWC Cycling tied for 5th after 3rd day of National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. The Lindsey Wilson cycling team is tied for fifth place with Lindenwood (IL) with 527 points after the third day of competition at the USA Collegiate Track National Championships. at the Major Taylor Velodrome 3649 Cold Springs Rod., Indianapolis, IN 46222.



In the team pursuit race, the men's and women's side each placed sixth. The women's squad of Emily Bramel, Hannah Hayduk and Paige Sanders finished with a time of 5:54.59, while the men's squad of Travis Monroe, David Novak and Chris Tveter finished in a time of 4:50.31.

In the men's 1km time trial event, Tveter led the men's side with a 15th place finish in a time of 1:12.05. Novak finished 19th with a time of 1:12.44, while Wyatt Myers placed 25th in a time of 1:13.49. Michael Hart took 31st place with a time of 1:14.52 and Monroe placed 45th with a time of 1:16.74. Patrick Dust and Luke Lukas rounded out the men's squad with 53rd and 63rd place finishes, respectively. Dust finished in a time of 1:18, while Lukas crossed the finish line at 1:22.11.

In the women's 500m time trial race, Adrian Sanders led the team with a 30th place finish in a time of 44.83. Bramel placed 33rd with a time of 45.06, while Brianna Delamare placed 38th with a time of 46.86.

Marian (IN) leads the field with 919 total points and Fort Lewis (CO) sits in second with 738 points. Midwestern State (TX) is in third place with 626 points. University of Colorado-Boulder is in fourth place, 16 points ahead of Lindenwood and the Blue Raiders with 543.
