ADAIR Band wins Grand Championship at Nelson Co.

ADAIR also receives Distinguished Rating, an honor not given at every Marching Band Contest. Russell County wins Second Place 3A in preliminaries and Best Drum Line 3A, in preliminaries

News from the Adair Band

The ADAIR band won the Grand Championship at the Nelson County Pageant of Bands tonight, Saturday, 27 Sep 2014, at Bardstown, KY, and was rated Distinguished by the Judges.

We also won Best Overall Color Guard and Best Overall Visual.

In the preliminaries earlier in the day, ADAIR won 1st Place 3A bands and Best Color Guard, 3A bands.

Russell won Second place in 3A and Best drum line in 3A

Rachel Parrish had her game face
on during warm-ups at the Nelson County Pageant of Bands yesterday before the ADAIR Bands Preliminary performance. During Prelims ADAIR won 1st Place AAA, and Best Color Guard AAA. During Finals later in the night ADAIR brought home a distinguished rating, Best Overall Color Guard, Best Overall Visual Performance, and Grand Champions!
