LW Volleyball at NW Ohio tri-match Sat 27 Sep 2014 Blue Raiders face Racers and Michigan-Dearborn beginning at 4pmCT By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 12-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team plays two matches at Northwestern Ohio at 4pmCT, Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Racer Gymnasium, 1441 North Cable Road, Lima, OH 45805. In their opening match of the day, the Blue Raiders (15-2) face the Wolverines of Michigan-Dearborn (0-15) at 4pmCT. Lindsey Wilson last played on Tuesday night against visiting Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY), sweeping the match 3-0 to stretch its winning streak to 11 matches. Yennifer Ramirez had team-highs of 16 kills and 13 digs, while Nadelina Nesheva totaled 11 kills. Makenzie Montano finished with a match-best 33 assists. Michigan-Dearborn seeks to capture its first victory in 2014, and has only won a total of seven sets this season. In the nightcap, the Blue Raiders pair up with the host Racers (10-6) with first serve scheduled for 6pmCT. In its most recent action, Northwestern Ohio defeated Aquinas (MI), 3-0, on Wednesday to record its seventh-consecutive victory. Chanel Cantere and Megan Fullenkamp each had 15 kills for the Races, and Haley Rosinski finished with 37 assists. The Blue Raiders and Racers met last season on 5 Oct 2014 in Columbia with Northwestern Ohio defeating Lindsey Wilson in a five-set thriller.
