Comment: Do cool heads keep quiet, simply not to cause controversy?

By Ralph Waggener
Personal commentary

Answer to John Halsey commentary (How road funds should be allocated),

We have had your cool heads on a lot of our taxing districts.

Do cool heads not say anything when they know what is happening is wrong?

Do cool heads keep quiet, simply not to cause any controversy?

Rep. Carney wasn't trying to help Adair County, but to cause a problem.

We all have our breaking points and I completely understand Judge Ann Melton’s outrage when her opponent helped arrange this grandstanding by a Republican Representative.

A local paper told of how hard he (State Representative Bam Carney) had worked touring all of Kentucky to promote new Republican candidates and yet comes home to promote a Democrat for Judge!

What he was doing with the road money was not trying to help Adair County, but cause a problem!

Yes, we all have our breaking points and this would have broke mine and it has.

Has Bam Carney ever got any road money before? What has he done for us? Yes, Ann lost her cool and I for one approve of this; we have had to many “Go along and don’t cause any problems” people here in Columbia/Adair County for way too long. Yes, it time to show a little fight and stand up for what is right and fight what is wrong.

Had the Hospital Board Stood up and gotten really mad at what Tungate was doing we would not be in the Hospital mess that took many years to happen!

They call me "Out of Order Ralph Roy Waggener" because I’m not a go along guy unless it is being done right.
