Murrell Kelsey Farmer Jr., Taylor Co., KY (1949-2014) He professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and he served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a former chaplain and commander of the VFW Post 8827 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a retired Boilermaker with the local 347 of North West Indiana, after moving to Campbellsville, he became a licensed horse trainer, breeder and owner-operator of Farmer Ridge Farm. He was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Murrell Kelsey Farmer, Sr. and Gerdena "Siby" Wise Farmer. His wife of over 42 years, Nancy Ann Ruff Farmer, survives. He was born Monday, October 3, 1949, in Taylor County. He died Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 17 days. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and he served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a former chaplain and commander of the VFW Post 8827 in Chicago, Illinois.
