By Adair County Constable Shannon Rowe, (District 2)

My heart is in such pain as I still try to grasp the concept that my only true brother growing up, Tony Grider, has passed on.

He was so much a huge part of my life as we did everything together growing up. We met each other in the second grade and were best friends ever since.

I spent most of my summers either at his house or he was at my house and his mom has always been my second mother to me over the years.

My memories are so many to recall because we were involved in everything together from band; we joined the Jaycees at the same time and also both joined rescue on the same day over 22 years ago.

If it weren't for Tony I would not have done as much in my life and be as far as I am today.

It will be very hard going on without him but he will always be in my heart forever.

I know he is at peace now and is no longer suffering and that's the most important part to me.

Please everyone, pray for his entire family as no one can truly understand how much his loss will be to our community.

May you rest in peace, my brother. I will always love you and will always remember you daily." Shannon Rowe, Constable, District Two
