ADAIR band competes at Campbellsville, Hodgenville today

Band Convoy leaves Band Room, 230 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY11:30amCT; Band competes in Taylor County Marching Invitational in Campbellsville at 1:30pmCT/2:30pmET, then, following awards at TCHS,travels 30 miles to Hodgenville, KY, to compete in the Lincoln Invitational at 5:45pmCT/6:45pmET

News from the ADAIR BAND

After their disappointing rain out at Mark Twain in August the ADAIR Band Nation is excited to be competing this weekend for the first time this season – and you should be aware they are competing not once, but twice today, Saturday, September 13, 2014.



ADAIR will begin their day at the 2014 Taylor County Marching Invitational, at Taylor County High School, 300 Ingram Avenue (Campus), Campbellsville, KY, against 10 great band from around the area they include: Metcalfe County, Cumberland County, Campbellsville, Glasgow, Larue County, Russell County, Nelson County, ADAIR, Mercer County, Marion County and the host band Taylor County will perform an exhibition.

Adair takes the field at 1:30pmCT/2:30pmET, for those interested you can go to KYband.com/Taylor-County for complete times.

Awards will be presented at 2:30pmCT/3:30pmET. After awards ADAIR will load back into their busses and head over to LaRue County High School, 925 S Lincoln Blvd (Campus), Hodgenville, KY to participate in The 2014 Lincoln Invitational. There will be 11 bands competing at the evening event which includes: Glasgow, Russell County, Nelson County, ADAIR, Taylor County, Marion County, Southwestern, DuPont Manual, North Hardin, Grayson County, and Bullitt East. LaRue County and Campbellsville University will both perform exhibition performances.

ADAIR takes the field at 5:45pmCT/6:45pmET. Awards at 9pmCT. Complete details and performance times of all bands can again be found at KYband.com/LaRue County.

There will be a lot of great bands from around the area at both of these events we encourage everyone to come out and make a day of it with us.

The ADAIR convoy will depart from the band room at approximately 11:30amCT. heading to Taylor County. It will be a great day full of music, friendship, and fun.
