Corps of Engineers offers free day of fishing for veterans

Veterans will be guests of the Corps. Everything will be furnished, including a meal. Signups taken until September 25, 2014

Veterans can sign up now for a free day of fishing out on Green River Lake with signup at 8amCT and fishing to start at 9amCT, Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the Holmes Bend Boat Ramp, by Holmes Bend Boat Dock, 5380 Holmes Bend Road, Columbia, KY. Experienced fisherman will serve as guides as veterans spend the morning fishing out on the lake. Poles, tackle and bait will all be provided and a free lunch will be served after the event. Veterans may sign up now by calling the Corps of Engineers office at 270-465-4463.
