Farmers Market on the Square showcased at Boone Tavern, Berea, KY

Columbia's Farmer's Market on the Square was showcased at a celebration luncheon held at Boone Tavern in Berea on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 as part of "Bon Appetit Appalachia".

FM2 representatives Caitlin Helm, Jimmy Helm and Barbara Armitage were presented with a certificate by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Appalachian Regional Commission Federal Co-chair Earl Gohl designating Columbia's Farmer's Market on the Square as one of 48 of Kentucky's most unique food-related tourism destinations.



"Bon Appetit Appalachia" is a culinary tourism initiative of the Appalachian Regional Commission's Tourism Advisory Council and the Kentucky Department of Travel & Tourism. The BAA was created to generate new visitation throughout the 13 state region of Appalachia by highlighting regional and local cultural and culinary destinations.

You can be a part of Kentucky's culinary heritage by visiting the Farmer's Market on the Square open every Saturday from 8am-1pm CT and every Tuesday from 4:30pm-7:00pm CT at the Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
