Pet peeve: Yard Sale ad for sale which isn't By Peg Schaeffer Last weekend I went searching for Yard Sales using Columbia Magazine. But when I would see a sign I'd follow it looking for a bargain. Nothing makes me madder when I follow a Yard Sale sign only to find out it was from previous weeks. If you have a Yard Sale you need to remove the signs so people don't waste their time following outdated signs. - Peg Schaeffer Peg Schaeffer, thanks - Yard sales are advertised by many means. Practicing the Golden Rule does mean being responsible. We can't speak for other media, but at CM we make every attempt to make sure that our classified ads, including Yard Sales, are always accurate and up to date. We'd expect that advertisers who use other media follow up to keep the public informed. - EW This story was posted on 2014-09-05 07:29:45
