LW Golf (M/W) will compete in Bill Sergent Invitation The Bill Sergent Invitational: Blue Raider Golf at Bill Sergent Invitational at 7:50amCT and noonCT, Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Crooked Creek Golf Club 781 Crooked Creek Dr, London, KY 40744 Teams include host Cumberlands (KY), Campbellsville, SCAD-(Atlanta, GA) Union (KY), UVa.-Wise, Berea (KY), St. Catharine (KY), Brescia (Owensboro, KY), and Midway (KY). By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY- The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's golf teams travel to London, Kentucky, to compete in the Bill Sergent Invitational beginning Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Crooked Creek Golf Club in London. Both teams competed in the President's Cup against Campbellsville (KY) at home last weekend. The men's team won in match and stroke play, while the women's team fell short in both events. Nathan Hincks was the individual medalist on the men's side scoring a 6-under par 136 over two rounds. Shayna Cockrill led the Blue Raiders on the women's side scoring a 17-over par 159. The field of teams for the invitational includes host Cumberlands (KY), Campbellsville, SCAD-Atlanta, Union (KY), UVa.-Wise, Berea (KT.), St. Catharine (KY), Brescia (Owensboro, KY), and Midway (KY). Lindsey Wilson competed in the Bill Sergent Invitational last year with the men's team finishing fifth out of eight teams, and the women's team placing third. Cumberlands took home both the men's and women's title last season.
