Taylor Co. SO makes arrest in 4 week old home invasion case

Victim had been assaulted, robbed

Today, Wednesday September 3, 2014, Deputies from the Taylor County Sheriff's Office arrested Damiano R. Brown, age 28; 6'-01"; 280 lbs.; 106 Ray Street; Campbellsville, KY on warrants issued after a home invasion burglary which occurred on August 5, 2014, at 1:45amET at 1502 East Broadway, Campbellsville, KY, where a resident had been assaulted and money had been taken from the residence.

Brown was identified as the male perpetrator earlier and warrants were issued for his arrest. Officers of the Campbellsville Police Department are interviewing Brown to learn his role in the home invasion of the Hispanic male and subsequent Assault and Robbery. The investigation on August 5, 2014, revealed there may have been as many as three (3) perpetrators. The victim was a Hispanic male in his thirties. At the time, he victim was transported to the Taylor County Hospital by CTCEMS with serious injuries.

The victim was later transferred to the University of Louisville hospital for more extensive treatment to his injuries. A female perpetrator was described as a black female approximately 26 years of age; 5'7"; 280 pounds.

Brown will be lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY
