Campbellsville Police investigating alleged kidnapping

Acquaintance allegedly got visually impaired man, age 44, to take a ride, then she and juvenile female, along with male participant, attempted to extort $500 dollars from the victim, telling him that he'd either pay the money or the juvenile would call the police and accuse the victim of rape. While victim was ostensibly entering a convenient store to visit an ATM, he told clerks he was being kidnapped. The clerks contacted authorities, Officer Nelson Bishop arrived on the scene and investigated and later identified the women in the plot and made an arrest. Police are still investigating the identity of the unknown male in the caper.
