U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell visits Lindsey Wilson College

Members of the Lindsey Wilson College chapter of the College Republicans visited Thursday afternoon, August 28, 2014, with U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.



McConnell, who is running for a sixth term, made campaign stop at the college's Thomas D. Clark Reading Room of the Holloway Building where he spoke to members of the LWC College Republicans chapter and other guests from the area. Among those in attendance were Krystal Goode of Somerset, Kentucky; Blake Chelf of Crestwood, Kentucky; McConnell; Torey Baker of Fredonia, Kentucky; Madeira Curry of Greensburg, Kentucky; Rebekah Sanders of Waynesville, Ohio; and Jake Saylor of Louisville, Kentucky; LWC Assistant Professor of History Asa Swan; Justin Roberts of Columbia; Wesley Marcum of Owensboro, Kentucky; Logan Adams of Somerset, Kentucky; Jonathan Joseph of Louisville, Kentucky; and Seth Slone of Danville, Kentucky. - DUANE BONIFER, Lindsey Wilson College.
