Campbellsville Firefighter Randy Bricken, Jr. asks for cards and letters for Captain Tony Grider and Firefighter Alex Quinn who were injured after the August 21 ALS Ice Bucket challenge.

Bricken, Jr., said their doctors recommend words of encouragement to help them pull through.

Firefighter Quinn is listed in fair condition, able to communicate and move around some.

Captain Grider remains in critical condition. Those wishing to participate can drop off cards or letters at Student Services on the main campus of Campbellsville University, 101 University Drive, (at the corner of N Hoskins Avenue and University Drive, Campbellsville, KY (Facility Directory).

Bricken said it is also appreciated when people stop by the Campbellsville Fire Department, 100 W Broadway, Campbellsville, KY. Letters are being collected there and taken to the hospital.
