No. 10 Lindsey Wilson Volleyball faces IUS Wednesday night Blue Raiders have won the past seven matches against the Grenadiers Click on headline for complete story By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team squares off against Indiana University Southeast tonight at 6pmCT/7pmET at Activities Center Gymnasium, 1 Grenadier Drive, New Albany, IN. MBR< The Blue Raiders enter the match with a 3-1 record following their opening weekend of play at the Montreat (NC) Volley in the Mountains Classic. After opening the 2014 season with a 3-0 victory against Webber International (FL) on Friday, Lindsey Wilson fell to the College of Coastal Georgia later that day. On day two of the tournament, the Blue Raiders swept a pair of matches against Point Park (PA) and Montreat. Daryna Liutikova leads the way for the Blue Raiders with 39 kills on the season. Nadelina Nesheva has 30 kills while averaging 3.33 kills per set. Sarah Shilling adds 29 kills with a .352 attacking percentage. Freshman Makenzie Montano leads the team with 108 assists and 34 digs on the year. The Grenadiers began their 2014 season Tuesday night by defeating visiting Midway (KY) 3-0. Senior Sara Schum led IU Southeast in the win with seven kills with a pair of service aces. Kristyn Maymon added five kills and seven digs. Lindsey Wilson has won the past seven matchups over the Grenadiers dating back to Oct. 12, 2010, including a pair of 3-0 sweeps last season.
