Injury accident occurs on Lakeview DR, today, Aug. 26, 2014

The Adair Sheriff's Office and Adair EMS responded to a single vehicle wreck on Lakeview Drive, which is off of Bridgewater Road, Tuesday, August 26. The wreck appears to have occurred when Grace Momanyi, 36. of Columbia was operating a 1999 Nissan Sentra when she dropped off the shoulder of the road while in a curve and lost control of the vehicle.



The vehicle continued until striking a tree downhill. at which point it overturned. Momanyi and her passenger Ken Keronchi, 40 also of Columbia were transported to Westlake Regional Hospital for injuries.

Momanyi was also cited for no operators license and failure of operator to maintain insurance. Deputy Adam Cravens investigated the wreck. Deputy Brandon Hitch and Sheriff Harrison Moss also responded. --Deputy Adam Cravens
