LWC Women's Soccer hosts AUM in season opener at Reuling No. 3 Blue Raiders hold a perfect 12-0 all-time record against the Warhawks By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - The third-ranked Lindsey Wilson women’s soccer team kicks off the 2014 season tonight against Auburn University Montgomery (AL) at 7pmCT, tonight, Monday, August 25, 2014, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY. The Blue Raiders are coming of a 21-4-0 season in 2013. Lindsey Wilson won the Mid-South Conference Tournament title and advanced to the NAIA National Semifinals before falling in double overtime to eventual national champion Concordia (OR). Auburn Montgomery enters the game coming off an 11-7-1 season in 2013. The Warhawks’ season came to an end after a penalty shootout loss to Mobile (Ala.) in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament. The Blue Raiders are a perfect 12-0 all-time against Auburn Montgomery with six wins in Columbia and six wins in Montgomery, AL. Lindsey Wilson received a No. 3 ranking in the 2014 NAIA Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll. It marks the 150th-consecutive poll the Blue Raiders have been ranked in the top 25, including 120-straight appearances ranked in the top 10.
