Applications for CAIP 50-50 producer's cost share program Applications accepted from Adair County producers starting August 25, 2014. Maximum $1,500 per farm operation. By Teresa Bright Applications for the 2014 Adair County Agricultural Investment (CAIP) program are available Monday, August 25 through Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street in Columbia during regular business hours. The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board recently approved $200,000 in Agricultural Development Funds for the 2014 CAIP program to be administered by the Adair County Cattlemen's Association. This program is a 50% cost-share program with a maximum funding of $1,500 per farm operation. CAIP is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices.
