Sharon Whitehurst comments on: Happy Tail - Its a small world

Sharon Whitehurst writes:
Animal rescue would seem to be a family trait. Do you suppose its something in our DNA? To complete the chain of events, Jim and I were in Tractor Supply Store a few minutes after Gina and Gracie left. Neighbor Betsy couldn't resist telling us about Gina's new dog, so, of course, we stopped to meet her on our way home.

My heart goes out to needy animals--our 'head count' increased by 8 cat 'foundlings' in the first two years in Gradyville, to say nothing of the 'transients' who have taken temporary lodgings on the porch or in the barn. - Sharon Whitehurst
