Russell Co. SO arrests man, allegedly naked in stolen vehicle Russsell County Sheriff's Department had warrant on 35 year old man for an alleging shooting for incident at Laker Billiards in Russell Springs, KY. Later the RCSO received call of a naked man attempting to steal a vehicle on Nelson Road. Followlng a pursuit on Half Acre Road and Stephens Ridge Road, the stolen vehicle left the roadway on Stephens Ridge Road and the naked man was taken into custody. Click on headline for complete story From Larry Smith, FM 99.9, the Big Dawg The Russell County Sheriff's ofice responded to a shooting at Laker Billiards in Russell Springs, KY, over the weekend, and, as a result of an investigation, Deputy Jeremy West obtained a warrant for 35 year old Jerry Brown with several chages, including wanton endangerment 1st degree, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and criminal attempt to commit murder. Before the arrest could be made, a call was received at around 8amCT, Tuesday morning that a naked man was stealing a vehicle from 540 Nelson Road in Jamestown, KY. Russell County Sheriff Lee Smith responded with several deputies. A pursuit ensued on Half Acre Road and Bernard Ridge with the stolen vehicle leaving the roadway on Stephens Ridge Road. The naked man, later dertemined to be Jerry Brown, fled the vehicle across a field and was taken into custody about 100 yards away. Additional charges of indecent exposure, fleeing and evading the police, and theft of a motor vehicle over $10,000 have been added to the original charges. Brown was taken into custody and lodged in the Russell County Jail.
