Vehicle reported stolen by by ACSO recovered by State Police

1999 Black Chevy Tracker stolen from Boyd Burton on Wheat Road in Eastern Adair County on August 16, 2014 located at the home of Terri Garner, 32 in Russell County, KY, who was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. The vehicle has been returned to owner

The Adair Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Saturday morning August 16, 2014. Boyd Burton, who resides off of Wheat Road near the Adair-Russell line reported his 1999 Black Chevy Tracker had been stolen overnight. The following Sunday Kentucky State Police located the vehicle in Russell County on Mt Pleasant Road at the residence of Terri Garner. Garner, 32 of Russell Springs was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and the vehicle was returned to the owner. Deputy Adam Cravens is investigating the case, charges are pending. --Deputy Adam Cravens
