Gen. Election 2014: Candidates draw for Ballot Position

Candidates (or their representatives) drew for ballot positions for the Tuesday, November 4, 2014 general election in the city and school board races today at 2pmCT in the office of Adair County Court Clerk Joyce Rodgers, with the following results:

For School Board, Division 1
  1. Terry Harvey
  2. Greg Willis
  3. Billy Bloyd

For School Board, Division 3
  1. Lisa Burton
  2. Joseph Payne


For Mayor of Columbia
  1. Curtis L. Hardwick
  2. June Parson

For Columbia City Council
  1. Dr. Ronald P. Rogers
  2. Craig Dean
  3. Robert Flowers
  4. Kenneth Dulin
  5. Linda Waggener
  6. Anthony C. Lasley
  7. Charles Grimsley
  8. Mark D. Harris
In the city council Race, the top six highest vote totals will win the six open seats. Council members serve two year terms. The Mayor's race is for a four year term, as are the races for school board seats in Division 1 and Division 3.
