Campbellville PD investigating home invasion burglary, assault

Victim is Hispanic male in his thirties. CPD is seeking arrest warrants for two of possibly three perpetrators: A black male approximately 30 years of age; 6-0 feet; 285 pounds. The female perpetrator is described as a black female approximately 26 years of age; 5'7"; 280 pounds.

The Campbellsville Police Department investigated the Burglary and Assault of a Campbellsville resident, on Tuesday August 5, 2014.



At approximately 1:45amET, Campbellsville Police received a report of a Burglary (home invasion) of a residence located at 1502 East Broadway. Officers responded to the scene to investigate and found the resident had been assaulted and money taken from the residence.

The investigation revealed there may have been as many as three (3) perpetrators. The victim was a Hispanic male in his thirties. The victim was transported to the Taylor County Hospital by CTCEMS with serious injuries. The victim was later transferred to the University Of Louisville hospital for more extensive treatment to his injuries.

Officers have identified persons of interest and have petitioned the court for arrest warrants. The perpetrators are a black male approximately 30 years of age; 6-0 feet; 285 pounds. The female perpetrator is described as a black female approximately 26 years of age; 5'7"; 280 pounds.

The investigating officers are B. Morgan, D. Colvin, and Sgt. D. Tucker.
