Virginia Eagle Scout cyclists stopping here tonight

They are on an across the USA Cycling trip, all the way from the West Coast. Should be arriving in late afternoon via Edmonton Road and Burkesville Road and Street.

Gary Rose of BicycleAdairCounty.com gave a heads up on some Very Important Guests expected in Columbia today for an overnight stay at the Columbia United Methodist Church.

"A group of Eagle Boy Scouts from Virginia, who are cycling across the country (West to East) are stopping in Columbia for the night. They are staying at the Columbia United Methodist Church for their visit," Rose wrote.

He isn't sure of the time of their arrival, but guesses they will be arriving sometime in late afternoon. "Their route is to bring them across West KY 80 to the intersection at Walmart and then into town on Burkesville Road," he said.

We hope lookouts in Edmonton, KY eastward will notify us of their impending arrival, and maybe share a photo as well. - EW
