KSP investigating mystery of car fire, body inside vehicle

SPRINGFIELD, KY - Post 15 is investigating a car fire that occurred in the parking lot of the Springfield Reservoir on Booker Road in Washington County early Friday morning, August 1, 2014. Washington County dispatch notified KSP at 7:48amET and stated that a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was on the scene and a body was inside the car.


Investigators have yet to determine the identity of the individual or the cause of the fire. Detectives are continuing to investigate.
