By Billy Joe Fudge

Amen, Barry. Many might remember the TV series, "The Guns of Will Sonnet". Will Sonnet's favorite saying was "no brag, just fact".

If the people of Columbia/Adair County want a vibrant Downtown Business and Cultural District then they need to realize the difference between personal opinions and facts.

The facts are that a calmed traffic flow with safe, pleasant, comfortable conditions for pedestrians is a formula for a bright and successful future for our most amazing Downtown.

Sadly, the status quo is a formula for continued decline or at best a slow and laborious ascension.

When are we the citizens of our fair community going to demand leaders who have vision for the future, a respect for the past, and a determination to make our community the best it can be?
