Why aren't simple changes already made on Jamestown Street? With speed control, more on and off street parking: Every one will win George Kolbenschlag writes: Ed: I agree with your assessment of the need for some changes on Jamestown Street just off the Square. With less through truck traffic, some better traffic control - especially speed - and some more on and off street parking everyone would win. Increased business on and off the Square, increased pedestrian traffic, and a better looking Columbia. It seems to me to be a relatively simple fix.
