I-75 in Rockcastle County reduced to one lane beginning July 27

Pavement improvements should be complete by November 30

SOMERSET, KY (July 25, 2014) - Beginning Sunday July 27, Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County will be reduced to one lane between mile point 58 and ending at mile point 66 as crews begin pavement improvements.

Northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane between the hours of 6pmET. to 12pmET Sunday through Thursday and from 6pmET on Thursdays to 7amET. Fridays.



Around August 25, both north and southbound lane reductions will increase to a 24-hour period daily Monday through Thursday for about six weeks. No lane closures will occur between 7amET Fridays through 6pmET on Sundays.

Work is scheduled to be completed by November 30. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destinations.
