Five from Adair County attend KY Sheriffs' Ranch Camp Donovan Furkins, Eldon Furkins, Jimmy George, Dakota Judd, and Cristian Marcial-Davis at camp with Sheriff Harrison Moss and Shirley Moss Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Shelley Davis, for KY Sheriff's Ranch Camp On July 13-18, 2014, five young boys from Adair County had the opportunity to attend the Kentucky Sheriff's Ranch Camp for Boys and Girls. The camp helps teach the boys and girls character, how to be role models in their community, learn about nature, participate in sports, getting to meet new friends, and learning how to help one another. Those in attendance Shirley Moss, Donovan Furkins, Sheriff Harrison Moss, Eldon Furkins, Jimmy George, Dakota Judd, and Cristian Marcial-Davis. Each of the boys received the following awards: Naturist, Archery, Outstanding Participation, Horsemanship, Sport of Fishing, Sports and An Amazing Award. Jimmy's favorite thing at camp was swimming and fishing. Eldon enjoyed doing everything, but his favorite was sleeping in the cabin with his friends Donovan's favorite thing was the swimming pool. Dakota enjoyed riding the horses and Cristian liked the swimming pool and the sports. The boys want to thank Sheriff Harrison Moss for taking them to the camp.
