He was the patriarch of a large, respected family with deep roots in Taylor, Adair, and Barren Counties of South Central Kentucky and elsewhere. He died Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 63 years, three months, and 15 days. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired head foreman with the Kentucky Highway Department.
