Delno Salmon's Chevy Malibu victim of hit-and-run incident

Incident occurs on South Central Avenue. Dark colored passenger vehicle collided with popular radio personality's car, flees scene with front bumper dragging, police report witnesses say. Anyone with information asked to call Campbellsville Police at 270-465-4122

The Campbellsville Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision that occurred on KY 70 (South Central Avenue) at the intersection of West Walnut, Campbellsville, KY, on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 4:20pmET

A 2008 Chevy Malibu (gray in color) being driven by Delno Salmon (age 68) of Campbellsville KY was traveling South on Hwy 70. As the Salmon vehicle was passing the intersection of West Walnut, a dark colored passenger vehicle collided with the Salmon vehicle causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. The dark colored passenger car was traveling east on West Walnut before the collision. The driver then fled the scene of the accident traveling East on East Walnut.

The driver of the dark colored passenger car was identified as heavy set white female. The vehicle was believed to be occupied by three other black females.

Officer Dexter Colvin of the Campbellsville Police Department was the investigating officer.

The passenger car sustained front end damage, witnesses reported the front bumper was dragging on the roadway when fleeing from the scene. Campbellsville Police is asking with anyone with information in reference to this collision to call 270-465-4122 or if wish to stay anonymous to contact 270-469-PRIDE.
